1 - 2 tbsp plain flour (mix with water to thicken the gravy)

1/2 cup ikan bilis (anchovies)
1/2 cup taucho (salted soya beans)
3 onions
12 garlic
30 dried chillies
6cm ginger
5cm lengkuas
1/2 tsp belacan
