Kuih Bakar Pandan
Recipe
Ingredients: Blend
- 10 pandan leaves
- 6 cups water (adjust)
- 2 & 3/4 cup flour (adjust)
- 300 ml coconut cream
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sugar
- Salt to taste
- Green colouring
- Vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds
- 2 Kuih Bakar baking pans
Method
- Combine 3 cups pandan juice, egg, sugar, coconut cream and blend
- Add 1 cup flour at a time to the mixture and blend again
- Add salt to taste and 3/4 tsp green colouring
Baking pan
Grease the baking pan with 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
Kuih Bakar Mould
Heat the mould on the stove for 2 mins, add 2 tbs vegetable oil, sesame seeds and pour the pandan mixture
Let it cook for 5 mins and transfer to the oven
Bake @ 190ºC bottom heat for 30 mins
Continue to bake oven mode (top & bottom heat ) for 20 mins
