MEE BAKSO



Mee Bakso

A traditional Indonesian cuisine, well known for it's savoury meatballs and delicious broth. Let's skip making meatballs and do it the easy way!




Mee Bakso / Meatball Noodle Soup


Recipe

Ingredients:
  • Beef / Beef Bones / Mutton / Chicken
  • 1 sup bunjut
  • 5 cm ginger
  • Beef stock / Water
  • 1 tbsp Spice Soup powder *Mak Siti Serbuk Rempah Sup
  • 1 beef cube
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 sugar

Mix spices:
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 star anise
  • 2 cardamom
  • 2 cloves

Slice ingredients: (optional)
  • 1 onion / 5 shallots
  • 2 garlic

Pound ingredients:
  • 1 onion / 5 shallots
  • 2 garlic


Other Ingredients:
  • Beef / Mutton meatballs
  • (Armiya Beef/Mutton meatballs or Marina Meatballs)

  • Carrot
  • Spring onion
  • Chye Sim / Sawi
  • Cabbage
  • Celery
  • Fried shallots
  • Chillie Pickles
  • Lime

Sauces:
  • Sambal Kicap
  • Hot Chillie Sauce (ABC brand)

Sambal Kicap:
  • 10 Red & green chillies
  • 8 chillie bird's eye chillies
  • 6 garlic
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 cups sweet soya sauce
  • 6 lime or 3 tbsp vinegar
