Mee Bakso
A traditional Indonesian cuisine, well known for it's savoury meatballs and delicious broth. Let's skip making meatballs and do it the easy way!Mee Bakso / Meatball Noodle Soup
Recipe
Ingredients:
- Beef / Beef Bones / Mutton / Chicken
- 1 sup bunjut
- 5 cm ginger
- Beef stock / Water
- 1 tbsp Spice Soup powder *Mak Siti Serbuk Rempah Sup
- 1 beef cube
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 sugar
Mix spices:
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 star anise
- 2 cardamom
- 2 cloves
Slice ingredients: (optional)
- 1 onion / 5 shallots
- 2 garlic
Pound ingredients:
- 1 onion / 5 shallots
- 2 garlic
Other Ingredients:
- Beef / Mutton meatballs
- (Armiya Beef/Mutton meatballs or Marina Meatballs)
- Carrot
- Spring onion
- Chye Sim / Sawi
- Cabbage
- Celery
- Fried shallots
- Chillie Pickles
- Lime
Sauces:
- Sambal Kicap
- Hot Chillie Sauce (ABC brand)
Sambal Kicap:
- 10 Red & green chillies
- 8 chillie bird's eye chillies
- 6 garlic
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 cups sweet soya sauce
- 6 lime or 3 tbsp vinegar
