KUIH LOPES & MORE ......CHECK THIS OUT!




Traditional malay cake, known as Kuih Lopes or Glutinous rice with palm sugar syrup. Making these sweet desserts brings back memories what many mums cared so much to make these lovely homemade cakes. It does takes lots of effort and patience.






Quite a long process but certainly is fun making these. One thing for sure not only I will be able to show to my kids in the future if they do watch my videos on what's it's made of ...'I'm laughing!'... my wish!





I’ve made these by two different methods steaming and boiling. Both ways are great, my choice I prefer steaming as it taste much better and had shorter cooking time. Do make the sugar syrup thicker as that's the right way to do, I've skipped that step and I'll do so on my next Kuih Lopes  making session!
